ROUND TABLES

Civil War Round Tables are independent organizations promoting and expanding local Civil War interests, both in the United States and abroad.  There is no national organization to coordinate and publicize the activities of individual Round Tables.  The independent CWRT CONGRESS is made up of various CWRT leaders whose mission is to provide a forum for discussion of how to adapt, adopt, and maintain strategies for sustainability of CWRTs.  Their website (www.cwrtcongress.org) contains an extensive listing of CWRTs around the country.

CALIFORNIA CIVIL WAR ROUND TABLES

At first thought, California would not come to mind as a hotbed of Civil War interest.  However, the number of Round Tables, as shown below, would imply more than just a rare interest.
